Quiktron Media Converters are packaged in high-quality ruggedized packages that operate over a wide temperature range. They can be used as standalone devices or conveniently mounted in two rackmountable enclosures. The rack-mountable enclosures are available in a 1u (1.75" high) or 3u (5.25" high) model that can accommodate 4 or 12 media converters.

A variety of built-in features include auto negotiation, UTP auto MDI/MDI-X switching, status LED's, and loopback testing. These features greatly reduce time spent troubleshooting during deployment. Available in multiple options (based on the type of fiber required) including: Ethernet protocol, redundancy, and optical connector type.
